Made With Love Tours creates small group cultural tours through Europe, including Italy, Ireland, Spain, and beyond. Each itinerary is built around private access to working artisans, their workshops, farms, studios, kitchens, and the craft traditions they represent. Each tour is inspired by the Emmy Award-winning PBS documentary series Made With Love, with groups limited to 20 guests on every departure.
-
Current Made With Love Tours travel to Italy and Ireland. In Italy, tours include Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna region, as well as the Italy Artisan Tour in Umbria and Tuscany. The Ireland Artisan Tour travels through Dublin, County Monaghan, Sligo, Galway, and Kilkenny. The Spain Artisan Tour itinerary includes Madrid, Seville, Córdoba, Granada, and Toledo, though 2026 Spain departures are sold out. New destinations, including France and Portugal, are in development for 2027.
-
Every Made With Love Tours departure is capped at 20 guests. That limit is deliberate: the small group format helps make access to family workshops, private estate stays, small-production farm tastings, and conversations with makers possible. These tours are built for closer conversation, thoughtful pacing, and meaningful access rather than the scale of a large coach tour.
-
Yes. Made With Love Tours are inspired by the Emmy Award-winning PBS documentary series Made With Love, which follows artisans across Europe and explores the craft traditions they continue to preserve. Some of the artisans you may meet on tour have appeared in the series, while each itinerary is shaped by the same respect for handmade work, cultural heritage, and time spent with makers.
-

-
Made With Love guests are curious, well-traveled people who want more than sightseeing and have a genuine interest in culture, craft, and the stories behind the food, objects, textiles, instruments, and traditions they encounter while traveling. They are not looking for a highlight reel. They want to sit in the workshop, meet the maker, and understand what it actually takes to produce something by hand, whether that means shaping a guitar, weaving cloth, making pasta, gilding by hand, or learning from a family that has carried a craft for generations.
-
Visit the tour page for the itinerary you’re considering to review available departure dates, current availability, inclusions, and pricing. When you’re ready, you can reserve your place with a $500 reservation deposit. Deposits are fully refundable within 7 days of purchase, less a 10% processing fee. After that period, deposits may be applied toward a future Made With Love Tours trip.
