  • The price includes ground transportation during* the tour, 4-star and above boutique hotels throughout the tour, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), a local travel guide, and admission to all artisans’ workshops. Some wine will be included with dinners, but other alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. *Transfers to and from the airport are not included but can be arranged for an additional fee. Airfare is NOT included.

  • Made with Love tours give you exclusive access to artisans and chefs from around the world, their craft, and the impact they contribute to the culture and traditions in a community. Depending on the tour, you’ll experience anything from truffle hunting and wine tasting to meeting artisanal goldsmiths and learning about 15th century ceramic making.

  • Made with Love tours are intimate and exclusive experiences with a small group of 20 people maximum. This allows you to get a true behind the scenes experience with the artisans and chefs.

  • On this tour, you will be staying at all boutique hotels with four stars or above.

  • Yes – for an additional fee. Prices will range from $400-600/room based on availability.

  • A deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot at the time of booking.

    50% of total trip costs will be charged 60 days out from your trip.

    The remaining balance will be charged 30 days out from your trip.

  • We accept checks, ACH, Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.

  • You can receive a full refund if you cancel 90 days prior to the tour start date.

  • Your US Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity and a minimum of two blank visa pages.

  • Tourist visas for US travelers are not required in Italy for stays under 90 days.

  • Yes, Made With Love Tours requires that each guest carries travel insurance that covers emergency medical treatment, emergency evacuation and repatriation. We recommend a minimum coverage of $100,000 for emergency medical treatment and $250,000 for emergency evacuation and repatriation. Insurance policy information will be required at final payment. Cancelation insurance is not required, but we recommend it. Learn more here.

  • The unit of currency in Italy (and most of Europe) is the euro. Guests will be responsible for their own currency exchange and fees.

  • Italy has a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and hot summers. However, the weather can vary greatly depending on the region and time of year, so checking the forecast before traveling on any of our Italy tour packages is essential.

  • Our itineraries often include visits to historic sites, charming villages, and picturesque landscapes. These frequently involve walking on uneven terrains such as cobblestone streets, gravel paths, and hilly areas. Travelers should be prepared for some physical activity, including walking on uneven surfaces and navigating stairs or inclines.

  • Please note that some of the locations we visit may have limited accessibility features. This includes narrow streets, limited elevator access, and historical buildings not equipped with ramps or other accessibility resources. As a result, travelers with mobility challenges may find certain parts of the tour difficult to navigate. If you have specific concerns about mobility or accessibility, please contact our team in advance. We are committed to providing support and making reasonable accommodations where possible.

  • There will be access to Wi-Fi; however, speed is subject to the connectivity available at the hotels where you’ll be staying.

  • Yes! We encourage you to support these local artisans by purchasing their products, which are perfect bespoke souvenirs and gifts.

  • Italian chefs are very accommodating of special dietary requirements. If you have any food allergies, please be sure to let us know as soon as possible.

  • Should world conditions affect the staging of the tour (e.g., natural disasters, including, but not limited to epidemics, pandemics; war; terrorism), or in the event a minimum of 12 participants is not attained, Made With Love Tours reserves the right to schedule the tour to a later date. In the event a tour participant is not willing to reschedule, and it is within 90 days of the tour start date, all deposits and/or tour payments will be returned to such tour participant who has signed up, less a 3% processing fee (non-refundable expenses actually incurred by MWL).

  • Made With Love Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries and/or destinations and to substitute hotels at its sole discretion. The tour planners and MWL Tours may adjust or modify venues, attractions, and destinations as deemed necessary for comparable accommodations and/or of greater value. If a participant misses the start of the tour or any event during the tour, they will be solely responsible for any costs incurred to rejoin the tour.
